New U.S. Travel Advisory for Mexico

This time, it is not about organized crime shootings, but the increasing amount of scams and fraud related to timeshares in Mexico. Third-party scammers promise to resell your timeshare, claim to have a buyer and ask for advance payments of taxes and fees, then eventually disappear… with your money. Make sure you work with a reputable agency before falling into this scam!
