Pelicans Clean Up on City Streets

No, not the birds. We are talking about the Elgin Pelican broom sweepers.

Mayor Christian Agúndez Gómez announced that these sweepers will assist the Public Services Office in cleaning the streets and avenues of Los Cabos. The investment for these machines totals $660,000 US.

The Elgin Pelican is valued for its durability and efficient features, which include a hydraulic sweeping system, a front discharge hopper, a propulsion system, and two ten-foot side brushes. The mayor emphasized that this addition is part of their ongoing efforts to keep the city streets clean. “Today, there are two sweepers; soon, there will be more. We aim to improve and beautify the streets, ensuring they remain clean and safe with the support of our citizens,” he stated.
