Choir Encounter  La Paz 2026

The Teatro Juárez in La Paz, Baja California Sur, proudly presents the 2nd Encuentro de Coros, a beautiful celebration of choral music from May 28 to 30, 2026.

This prestigious event will bring together more than 150 choristers from different regions for three days filled with music, learning, and cultural exchange.

Highlights of the Program:

  • Performances by invited choirs, including the outstanding Octeto Vocal de la Secretaría de Cultura del Estado de México
  • Masterclass led by renowned conductor Mtro. Jorge Córdoba
  • Workshops on choral performance, staging of choral works, and training sessions
  • A special closing concert

The Choir Encounter is part of the official program for the 491st Anniversary of the Founding of La Paz, offering the community and visitors a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the beauty and power of choral singing in one of the city’s most important cultural venues.
