Experience a revolutionary way to compete in one of the world’s most legendary fishing destinations with Bisbee’s Mag Bay Mania, a fully virtual billfish release tournament powered by CatchStat.com.

Running throughout the entire month of November 1 to 30, 2026, this innovative event invites anglers to fish the productive waters of Magdalena Bay  or anywhere  and compete by filming and releasing their billfish catches. With a 100% virtual format, participants can join from any location while still sharing in the passion and excitement of a traditional high-stakes tournament.

The concept is simple yet powerful: Fish. Film. Release. Compete. Anywhere. Anglers capture their billfish releases on video, submit them through the CatchStat platform, and compete on a level playing field that rewards skill, technique, and conservation-minded fishing. This modern approach combines the thrill of chasing marlin and other billfish with the flexibility of technology, opening the competition to a wider community of passionate anglers.

Whether you are a seasoned offshore fisherman familiar with Mag Bay’s legendary waters or an angler looking to experience the excitement of a Bisbee’s-style event from afar, Mag Bay Mania offers the same competitive spirit with exciting new possibilities.
