Among the projects of 5 Northeastern states, there is one that would allow cars, trucks, trucks carrying fishing and sailboats to cross the peninsula from the Pacific to the Sea of Cortez without going all the way around Los Cabos. The new road would be built in Northern Baja, from Santa Rosaliita on the Pacific to Bahia de Los Angeles on the Sea of Cortez. There would be a port at each point, with transportation vehicles available, if needed. Stay tuned.
