Four Mexican states (Oaxaca, Colima, Guerrero and Sinaloa) are trying to free the catch of dorado to commercial fishing boats and are about to present a proposition to the Mexican Congress. Such a change would endanger Los Cabos sport fishing industry, which has made us famous around the world and is one of the three major sources of income. Several associations in Los Cabos are meeting February 22 and 23 to discuss a strategy to bring down the threat. Stay tuned.
