Transpeninsular Train Might Become a Reality

Southern Baja’s lawmaker Alfredo Porras confirmed that there is an $8 billion USD project in progress to build a railroad and train to travel from Tijuana to Cabo San Lucas. If approved in 2023, it would be built in 4 years and would travel 1,056 miles to bring cargo and passengers to and from Tijuana to all the Baja peninsula. And to send migrants to the U.S. border.
