Maybe not, so this is a great opportunity to taste it!
As you’ve probably read in our beloved Mexican Cooking section, mole is a remarkable example of Mexican cuisine and is by far one of the most complex dishes in existence. There are many types and versions, and almost all of them have been passed down from generation to generation.
On May 3rd, during the festivities of the 490th Anniversary of the Founding of La Paz, the 2nd Mole-Based Dish Contest will be held. Participants must present five samples of their dish which will be evaluated by a jury based on presentation, history, and flavor.
First place will receive a cash prize of $250 US, $150 US for second place, and $100 US for third place.
Those interested can register until Tuesday, April 15th, by emailing as**************@gm***.com
