The Nobu Los Cabos is an upscale hotel located inside the Diamante development that opened in 2019 during the pandemic years, owned by 3 amigos actor Robert de Niro, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and movie producer Meir Teper, recently celebrated the grand opening of Nobu Residences, last July 20 through the 23, with a series of cocktail parties and tres chic events.
The hotel collection with more than 30 properties around the globe is recognized as a blend of modern luxury and minimal Japanese tradition. Nobu Los Cabos has been created to accommodate the needs of the most demanding traveler, offering deluxe suits and several top-notch restaurants including a Nobu restaurant, of course, serving a menu of freshly prepared cuisine created by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa integrating the region’s fish and seafood.
Chef Nobu attended with members of his family along with the hotel’s team hosted a spectacular week commencing at the Nobu restaurant with a Kanpai (cheers in Japanese) sunset party attended by a couple of hundred guests all dressed up to the nines, invitation was open and posted on the Nobu Los Cabos FB page, continuing by the traditional inauguration ribbon cutting followed by a chill out music cocktail hour at trendy M Bar and dinner at the Mediterranean fusion Muna Restaurant both on the rooftop the new Residences tower. Guests and members partied throughout the weekend at Nami Champagne Bar by Krug as in Krug Champagne closing up with a Sunday brunch at Playa Bar, these last two events were private.
In an interview with Richard Sorensen, former G.M. at the One and Only Palmilla, Nobu Chicago and now Nobu Los Cabos, said: “These are the first Nobu Residences but not the last.”
More Nobu Residences are scheduled to open in Tulum (Riviera Maya), Toronto Canada, Orlando Florida and so on. Here in Los Cabos, there are 60 exclusive fully integrated residences with beautifully personalized spaces that combine Nobu nuances with the local desertic landscape. Sorensen:” We offer concierge services, in-residence dining plus priority access to exclusive Nobu events”. ”These are hotel-operated and managed residences, they carry on the Nobu Hotel standards”.
All the residences are designed exactly as the hotel suites with impressive views of the Diamante’s golf course and the majestic Pacific Ocean, available to rent through the usual channels like travel agencies, Expedia, on our website or by becoming with either Privee Club a high-end vacation club based out of Cabo San Lucas or RCD Hotels based in Cancun.
