Celebrations for Mexico’s Independence Day Announced

This Friday and Saturday, several events will take place in La Paz to celebrate the country’s Independence Day. On Thursday the 15th at 7:30 pm, there will be a Mexican Night fiesta at the square outside the Government Palace on Isabel La Catolica Street. Live music, folk dance and food stands followed by the “El Grito.” On Saturday the 16th, there will be a military parade at 9:00 am from Alvaro Obregon to Miguel Hidalgo street. Great photo opps!
