Hopefully. During the past few months and mostly due to car and semi’s wrecks, the vehicle traffic along the fourlane between Cabo and San Jose has come to a stop. The only way around for people commuting – and tourists heading to the airport – is to take the expensive toll roads. Early in December when a truck carrying wet cement flipped at the Costa Azul vista point, traffic between Cabo and San Jose was stopped for eight hours! The Mayor of Los Cabos, who took office late last September, has vowed to make the toll roads free. Toll roads are a joint investment of the federal government and private companies, who charge to get their invested money back, usually in 20 years. Stay tuned.
