Tourists Visiting Cabo Will Be Taxed

After three years of debate and with 20 votes in favor and one abstention, the Southern Baja state Congress finally approved a new tax to tourists staying in Los Cabos more than one night. The charge for 2022 will be $1.50 USD per night and will be used to improve infrastructure, safety, health, sports and fisheries, agriculture and cattle breeding in our state. How will they charge the tourists? The government is discussing with the hotel association the procedure.
