The Municipal Government of Los Cabos has reported steady progress in its street and road rehabilitation and maintenance program across the municipality.
According to the General Directorate of Public Services, more than 130 kilometers of rural roads have been rehabilitated, improving connectivity between communities, especially those in remote areas. The effort aims to ensure residents have better access to transportation and essential services.
In urban zones, work has been completed on 175.5 kilometers of streets, including grading, leveling, and surface improvements designed to create safer and more efficient traffic flow for drivers and pedestrians. These projects are part of the municipality’s broader strategy to address infrastructure needs in neighborhoods and residential areas.
Mayor Christian Agúndez and the Director General of Public Services, Manuel Montaño, reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing community well-being. “Our goal is to improve the quality of life and well-being of families,” the department stated, emphasizing that rehabilitation work will continue in additional areas.
Authorities added that priority will be given to zones with the highest demand, ensuring the program benefits all communities. Through these actions, the City Council aims to strengthen road safety and efficiency for residents throughout Los Cabos.
