It’s time to give back! This Thursday, May 8, the ZOFEMAT has organized a clean-up day from 8 to 11 a.m. Citizen involvement is key to achieving a lasting positive impact.

Lizette Rizo, Director of the Environment Department of La Paz, emphasized that this event aims to continue promoting the care of the municipality’s beaches and their responsible use, so that everyone can enjoy their beauty and natural resources.

She emphasized that beach conservation not only benefits biodiversity but also strengthens the local economy and improves quality of life.

Therefore, the call is for citizen participation, as support is essential to the success of this activity, improving these spaces’ conditions and making a difference for future generations.

These activities are carried out monthly as part of the Platino Beaches program, which aims to strengthen sustainability and foster a culture of respect and protection for our natural environment.

Remember that beaches in Mexico are for all, and this is a two-way street. So, get your gear together, bring water, comfortable shoes, a hat or cap, gloves, and sunscreen.

These measures aim to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, and it is a nice way to spend some time getting to know new people and making friends.
