Large Investments in BCS This Year

In mobility, housing, energy and water supply

The Mexican federal government has announced significant investments in Baja California Sur for 2025, focusing on infrastructure, housing, energy, and water supply. Projects include a 450-million-peso overpass at the Fonatur Roundabout in San José del Cabo, the National Housing Program in Los Cabos with over 1,000 planned units, an electricity plant to meet growing energy demand, and a new dam to improve the water supply in the capital. Educational projects, particularly in high schools, were mentioned but without details. The modernization of the Transpeninsular Highway was notably absent from the plans.
