Malecón in La Paz Closed for the Children’s Carnival
Tomorrow, Sunday, February 23, road closures will be in effect on Paseo Álvaro Obregón starting at 9:00 a.m. The closure will initially impact the section from Colegio Militar to Guadalupe Victoria. Then, at 1:00 p.m., the restricted area will extend to Gral. Manuel Márquez de León Street.
The festival will kick off at 3:00 p.m. at the kiosk on the boardwalk, bringing fun and festivities for families and visitors alike.

Authorities urge citizens to avoid parking their vehicles on the Malecón promenade and to drive cautiously in the area. If possible, use alternative routes to prevent delays or traffic congestion.
Once the parade concludes, road closures will be limited to the section between Ignacio Allende and Miguel Hidalgo. Streets will fully reopen after the final artistic presentation wraps up at the main pavilion on 16 de Septiembre Street.
Plan ahead and enjoy the festivities!
