Potholes will be fixed. Soon.
Almost 5 million bucks will be invested for the restoration of the fourlane between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose.
In a meeting held at the Los Cabos Coordinating Council (CCC), with the presence of authorities from all levels, the general director of the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation (SICT) in Baja California Sur, Marco Antonio Gutierrez reported that this next year there will be resources for federal roads.
It is estimated that around 2 million dollars will be for the pothole filling program agreed upon a couple of months ago and the other 3 will be for routine road maintenance. Both projects will provide a solution to the huge potholes that have been detected in the Los Cabos tourist corridor.
Other issues that SICT is working on are the executive project for the Fonatur roundabout overpass, which work will begin in 2025, as well as the management of a road distributor in Cerro Colorado.
