Los Cabos is marking the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with an inspiring lineup of activities, including an inclusive horseback ride on December 3. The ride will begin at the cemetery in San José del Cabo, travel through the tourist corridor, and end at Plaza Antonio Mijares in the heart of the city.
Fernando Altamirano, Director of the Municipal Institute for Disability (Imdis), unveiled a full program of events running from December 2 to December 8. Key highlights include the “March for Inclusion” on December 3 at 2:00 PM, which starts from the cemetery in San José del Cabo and concludes at Plaza Antonio Mijares. This peaceful and symbolic march aims to raise awareness about equality and the rights of persons with disabilities.
In addition to the march and horseback ride, the program features informative conferences, recreational and cultural activities, and other initiatives designed to foster integration and inclusion.
“This is about building awareness and creating a more inclusive community for individuals with disabilities,” said Altamirano.
Residents are encouraged to participate, show their support, and stand united for equality and inclusion. Let’s make a difference together!
