Well, times change. Buzzard’s Bar and Grill in La Laguna at the edge of the East Cape, a favorite stop for residents and visitors alike, is now closed. For almost three decades, this iconic spot, originally opened as a B&B and restaurant by Judy and Denny Jones, has been a staple in the community.
In 2010, the property was sold to Paul Meredith, who focused on the restaurant and significantly expanded it over the years. However, last year, the land behind and beside Buzzard’s was sold to a developer planning to build condominiums. With these changes, Paul ultimately agreed to sell the property and plans to retire.
