The 80+ vendors that show up every Saturday morning to sell their homemade products, clothes, and jewelry, will take a break for the summer, returning in November to make us happy again. The market, the largest in Baja, also offers Yoga lessons (early morning), activities for kids, live music, artsy farsty performances, homemade breads, pesto, chimichurri, lasagna, pizza, empanadas and lots more. Even great photography by renowned photographer Bruce Herman, who didn’t show up to the market’s last day of the season, for some reason. Oh, that came up as a verse. LOL!
This year, the market organizers, led by Vicky Perez, decided to honor their long-time supporters and the Gringo Gazette was one of them, with our very own coming up to the stage to receive our plaque.
We look forward to the market to resume activities in November. Stay tuned!
