Dry Law Goes Into Effect this Sunday

Starting at midnight this Saturday and until 9:00 am Monday morning, the sale of alcohol in stores and bars will be suspended. The reason? The state holds elections for Governor, Congress members and City Mayors. Not selling alcohol is supposed to reduce or prevent violence, although our state is very tranquilo and no violence is expected. The good news is that restaurant bars in the tourist zone of Cabo San Lucas and San Jose as well as hotels will be able to sell booze as most of their clients are tourists. Stock up, you have been warned.
