All over Mexico, hoteliers are hoping to see more tourists during the Holy Week / Easter Week that runs from March 28 through April 10. Holy Week is a traditional vacation time in Mexico, while Easter Week usually brings more tourists from the U.S. The ministry of tourism is predicting up to 65 percent occupancy in some areas if the expected 5 million tourists show up. That would bring nearly $700 million US in revenue, much needed after the worst year in history.
