“Together x Los Cabos,” an ambitious project spearheaded by the downtown business sector with support from municipal authorities, aims to rejuvenate and enhance the tourist areas of Cabo San Lucas. This initiative seeks to not only improve the appearance but also to revitalize one of the most crucial tourist locales in the municipality.
Mayor Christian Agúndez reiterated his administration’s dedication to refurbishing Cabo San Lucas’s tourist zone through a federal program designed to fund the beautification and enhancement of such areas. “This project will help revive the bustling tourist hub and ensure it remains a top destination for visitors,” stated Mayor Agúndez.

Robbin Hernández, president of the Los Cabos Association of Professionals and Business Leaders, emphasized the positive impact of the initial maintenance and urban improvements. “By making the area more appealing, we’re confident that it will boost our sales by 50% across various businesses, including bars and restaurants,” Hernández explained. He also mentioned ongoing work meetings focused on promotional strategies and the potential creation of a “Cabo San Lucas sub-brand.”
The program’s launch last Friday witnessed enthusiastic participation from the community. Local restaurants supported the effort by providing refreshments to volunteers as they painted sidewalk borders with supplies provided by the municipality, as promised.
With an eye on the upcoming Spring Break season, the project’s goal is to present a clean and attractive destination ready to welcome a surge of visitors.
Was in Cabo last week and saw some of these initiatives. The downtown sidewalks are very narrow with lots of trip hazards for walkers. A little goes a long way!
