It's been years since this last happened. A strong hailstorm occurred in the northern area of BCS, towards Bahía Tortugas. The views were stunning.
Around the Los Saltitos ranch area, located towards Bahía Tortugas the road and surrounding areas were covered in white, amazing everyone. Caution is advised when driving. Stay warm.
Authorities report that very low temperatures are expected in the mountain areas and the Vizcaíno valley Thursday night, January 9, with temperatures around 37º Fahrenheit (about 3°C), as well as morning fog or low cloudiness. In Mulegé, Loreto, Comondú, the Sierra La Giganta and La Laguna the temperatures will range between 39º F and 72º F. In La Paz and Los Cabos, the same is expected.
