The Cabo San Lucas Fire Department sprang into action Wednesday evening after receiving an urgent call about a fire inside the kitchen of the luxury Nobu Resort, located along the Pacific coast just outside of Cabo on the road to Todos Santos.
According to reports, the blaze ignited in a kitchen air duct—one of those spots where grease tends to build up, making it a quick way for small fires to escalate. Fortunately, the firefighters arrived swiftly, getting the flames under control by around 8:00 pm.
But the team didn’t stop there! Equipped with thermal cameras and a drone, they carefully monitored the area to make sure every last ember was extinguished, preventing any chance of reignition. With such dedication and thoroughness, they ensured the resort and its guests could breathe easy again.
A big bravo to the firefighters for their quick thinking and precision!
