More Tourists Doesn’t Mean More Money

This July, the cash flow from international tourists took a tiny dip by 2.3 percent. On average, these globe-trotters spent about $412.77 USD. Now, here’s the fun part: those flying in splashed out an average of $1,073.09. Quite the high rollers, right?

On the flip side, the road-trippers and those hitting up border towns were a bit more budget-conscious, spending around $378.72. But hey, it’s the sizzling summer! A lot of the summer wanderlusters might not have the deep pockets like the folks who visit in the cooler months of fall or winter. No biggie, really. It’s just a seasonal thing. Just a fun tidbit for your next trivia night! Cheers!
