East Cape Firefighters New Girl Arrives

Nicknamed “Maria” in honor of a woman that died in a fire, Engine 42 of the East Cape Volunteer Bomberos will be showcased at the Farmers Market in Los Barriles this Saturday March 19. You are welcome to meet her! Maria had her first encounter with a fire in San Jose del Cabo a couple of days ago, after the team in charge received training. She will be stationed in Buenavista. The group are actively working in raising funds to acquire another fire engine for Station 5 in La Ribera. If you find it in your heart to donate to the volunteer fire department of the East Cape, the group is a 501c3.
