This mid of the year, the Cabo San Lucas Marina lease expires and the Mexican Navy will take over its management. The current management company, Administracion Portuaria Integral (API) is a 49% private and 51% federal enterprise. When the lease (known as concession in Mexico) expires, it will become Administradoras del Sistema Portuario Nacional (ASIPONA). Hopefully they keep George Mendes, the current manager, in his position.
