This Wednesday, Mexico celebrated National Taco Day, which was created in 2007 by Televisa, the country’s biggest TV and Media company. Back then, Televisa held a big Taco Party in the Azteca soccer stadium in Mexico City that has a capacity for 100,000 people. It also held a big Beach Taco Party in the popular beach city of Acapulco. Tacos, and tortillas, are probably the most ubiquitous food in Mexico, you can find a taco stand in almost any neighborhood. We eat tacos for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so we think it should be an Official Holiday, don’t you agree? Enjoy a Mexican taco this Wednesday, and celebrate with us!
