New Park Opens in La Paz

A 14 hectares (nearly 35 acres) Eco-Park was officially inaugurated by the La Paz Mayor this week. It features swings, soccer, flag football, and volleyball fields, walking and bicycle paths, mountain bike trail, an amphitheater, botanical garden, fitness equipment (donated by Heineken) and will be extended to feature a boxing ring and baseball fields for children and adults. To get there, take the road to the airport and before you get to the Whale’s Tail sculpture, turn left on Pino Pallas Blvd. You will see a sign, don’t get lost!
