Business Owners Agree to Stop Price Increases

In a major meeting with President Lopez Obrador (AMLO), 32 business owners and CEO’s of  business organizations agreed to contain the increase of prices in basic food staples in an effort to contain some of the current 7.8 percent inflation. The list includes corn oil, rice, canned tuna, brown sugar, some beef, onion, jalapeño pepper, pork chops, beans, eggs, bathroom soap, tomatoes, milk, lemon, apple, orange, some bread, potatoes, toilet paper, pasta for soup, chicken, canned sardines, corn tortillas and carrots. Hoooray!
