A little taste of WTF Burger Bar

WTF Burger Bar is one of the best restaurants in Cabo San Lucas, that is if you like the finest fresh ingredients possible and your burger made with Wagyu Beef imported from Australia.

Top of the line beef!  Their motto is "LIFE'S TOO SHORT FOR AVERAGE FOOD."

WTF Burger Bar has beautiful views of the Marina and is located outside of the Puerto Paraiso Mall in front of the Harley Davidson Store.

My friend and I enjoyed lunch there recently. We ordered the crab cakes "all blue crab" and Kobe sliders. We complimented the dishes with Antares Chardonnay.

The Crab Cakes are the best I've ever tasted and I'm initially from the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland where Crab Cakes were invented. WTF Crab Cakes are a traditional southern style crab cake with remoulade sauce.  The Kobe sliders were a Wagyu trio - cheddar, tomato, crispy onions and 1000 island on Hawaiian sweet rolls.

The executive chef and owner is Jimmy Maddin. He has over 40-years experience in the restaurant business. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and spent 25 years at a major hotel and casino in Las Vegas as executive chef and vice president of food and beverage prior to opening WTF Burger Bar four years ago here in Cabo.

WTF Burger Bar is family friendly, they even make hand-scooped milkshakes for the little ones, and have a smoothie bar.

You can dine in on the Marina or you can take out to your hotel, the beach, or a boating excursion. They also book private events such as weddings, birthdays, bachelor/bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, business dinners, etc.

You may enjoy your event in the main dining room depending on availability. If you prefer to entertain at home, they provide in-house catering. "You invite the guest, they will do the rest."

They proudly pour only premium liquor in their original cocktails with all natural "Perfect Puree" from Napa Valley, use fresh fruit and USDA agave nectar.  In addition to cocktails, their wine is priced reasonably at $8 U.S. per glass or $23 U.S. a bottle.  They also offer a wine of the month by the glass or by the bottle, just ask your waiter.  The service is excellent! You may also purchase a bucket of 5 beers for $12 U.S. and they have an extensive coffee bar; Espresso, Cappuccino along with assorted tea.

WTF Burger Bar is open 7 days a week from 9 a.m. - 10 p.m.  Their contact information is: www.wtfbb.com, U.S. phone: 702-234-6522, MX phone: 612-176-6740.  To contact Chef Jimmy Maddin via email - jimmy@cheflive.com.
