A Southern Baja Legend Has Died

Linda Neil of The Settlement Company fame passed away after a long fight with cancer. Founder of AMPI, the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals, worldwide known Real Estate speaker, mother and widow of her late husband John Glaab has left us. Here are some testimonials from her fans:

“With profound respect, we honor the memory of Linda Neil — an exceptional woman, tireless advocate for justice, and defender of the highest human values. Her professional and personal legacy leaves an indelible mark on all of us. At Zenith Cabo Realtors, we are deeply grateful for her example, her passion, and her unwavering integrity. We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family and loved ones.
May she rest in peace.” Harry Schikora.

“A close friend and pioneer in the real estate industry, the founder of escrow and real estate closing services in Baja California Sur and Mexico City, a prestigious and nationally and internationally recognized leader. Founder of AMPI Los Cabos and the settlement company, her legacy lives on in each of the professionals she inspired with her passion, dedication, and vision.” Susana Bueno, Qualtor Real Estate.

“We at the Gringo Gazette mourn her loss. She was a close friend whom I enjoyed dining and wining with, along with her late husband John Glaab. She was a regular contributor to our newspaper and the real estate expert I always turned to when in doubt. I will sorely miss her liveliness, generosity, honest laughter and expertise.” David Flores.
