The Miraflores Market will return on the first Sunday of March, offering visitors an array of regional products. The event will take place in front of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in the community of Miraflores, a small municipality in Los Cabos.
The traditional market is an early pre-spring event focused on healthy recreation and direct support for producers and entrepreneurs in the Baja California Sur region. Held annually, it aims to promote local talent, encourage responsible consumption and strengthen the rural economy of Los Cabos.
“Over the years, the Miraflores Market has established itself as a gathering place where artisans and entrepreneurs showcase products that reflect Southern Baja California’s identity, contributing to local social and economic development,” said April Urueta Martínez, director of economic development for Los Cabos.
“The creation of this direct marketing channel allows producers to offer their goods without intermediaries, strengthening family income and promoting balanced economic growth,” Urueta Martínez said.
The Miraflores Market will take place March 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Miraflores is located about 36 kilometers (22 miles), north of San José del Cabo, making it an easy road trip for residents and visitors alike.
