The economic impact exceeded $6.25 US, with an average hotel occupancy rate of 69% in Los Cabos and 59% in La Paz, reported Maribel Collins, head of SETUE (the Ministry of Tourism and Economy).

According to the state official, Los Cabos had most of the tourists with 1,680,900, followed by La Paz with 257,000 and Loreto with 43,700 visitors. These destinations are positioned as the most relevant in the state in terms of tourist arrivals.

During this period, the economic impact generated by tourism activity reinforces the state’s role as one of the country’s main tourist destinations, attracting both domestic and international visitors.

Collins also highlighted that the average hotel occupancy rate has remained stable, at 69% in Los Cabos and 59% in La Paz, reflecting tourists’ confidence and preference for these destinations.
