Stop the Press! No Roundabout works!

At least not as it was announced

Even when the SICT (Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications, and Transportation) had announced that work on the overpass at the Fonatur roundabout would begin this Monday, May 12, the mayor of Los Cabos, Christian Agúndez, stated that the official opening will be delayed for at least two weeks. According to the mayor, this adjustment is the potential visit of federal representatives who would be present at the start of construction. He clarified that, despite the date change, the project is still underway and that measures are already being implemented to minimize the impact on mobility in the area.

So let’s look pretty for the outsiders, never mind the Los Cabos citizens. Sigh
