Could This Never-Ending Story?

Who would get tired first?

As incredible as it could be, just a few days after the Governor reopened the coastal roads, access to the Ensenada Blanca beach in Loreto was restricted to people from the community. For years, this place has been a place of recreation, fishing, and tourism for families in the region.

On Monday evening images began circulating on social media showing an elderly couple who were denied access to the beach.

In response, citizens and residents of Loreto called on the governor to act with the same firmness in this northern part of the state, where they claim that the privatization and dispossession of public spaces by tourist developments is an increasingly common practice.

Please, remember that the La Paz City Council launched an app that allows you to report a closed or difficult to access beach this vacation, using the La Paz app or writing to pl**********@la***.mx. Because free access to the beaches is a constitutional right.
