Both were highly needed
The La Ribera area has seen a significant increase in construction and population in recent years, so more and more services are needed every day.
“Protección Civil” in BSC is a multifaceted system designed to protect the population from various hazards through a combination of prevention, preparedness, response, and collaboration.
During the inauguration, Officer Carlos Beltrán acknowledged the support of Mayor Christian Agúndez, who emphasized the importance of these new facilities. “These areas that we are inaugurating tonight are extremely important for emergency services for the municipality of Los Cabos, especially for the community of La Ribera.”
He also said that as government representatives, they have remained active in delivering infrastructure: “Almost every day we are inaugurating some type of project or are working on some type of commitment made during the campaign.”
For his part, the Fire Department official for the La Ribera area, Román Brito, expressed satisfaction: “We are happy about the inauguration of this new fire station, which will undoubtedly do a lot of good for the La Ribera community.”
“In a district as busy as La Ribera, these two stations were needed, both for the Fire Department and Civil Protection; now, the families of the Ribera area will have the attention they deserve in this area,” commented Agundez.
“The key is to work together to bring the benefits to all communities. That’s why this administration is working in coordination with delegates and subdelegates to support the priority needs of each family,” the council member concluded.
