It’s their show time!
The East Cape in Baja California Sur is home to many types of whales, including humpback, gray, blue, fin, minke, and sperm whales. The best time to see whales in the area is from December to April, with January to March being the most recommended months.
Visitors can see a range of behaviors, including breaching, spy-hopping, pec slapping, lob-tailing, and mother-calf interactions.
Sandy Stambaugh Motter, a good friend of the Gringo Gazette, posted on her Facebook page yesterday, “The whales last night on the East Cape were insane! Right off the beach, less than 100 yards and there must have been at least 20! I haven’t seen that good of a show in years. Of course, trying to take pics never works for me!”
Thanks for sharing, Sandy!
