A food show will be presented today Saturday December 7th. The government delegation esplanade in Cabo San Lucas, will be the setting for the Indigenous and Afro-Mexican Gastronomic Festival “El Tamal le dice a la Olla.” Organized by the Municipal Institute of Indigenous and Afro-Mexican Affairs of the XV City Council of Los Cabos, the event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with the aim of exposing and promoting one of the most emblematic culinary traditions of Mexico.
This festival will bring together local citizens who will present tamales made with traditional recipes from various regions of the country, promoting cultural exchange and gastronomic appreciation. In addition to the exhibition and sale of tamales, attendees will enjoy artistic presentations such as indigenous dances, wind band music and the characteristic bull, strengthening the festive atmosphere.
With this type of activity, the Los Cabos City Council seeks to preserve cultural roots and offer recreation spaces for families. According to the authorities, the main objective is to promote identity and cultural diversity, promoting an environment of coexistence and learning in a dignified and accessible environment for all.The event is open to the public, so residents and visitors are invited to participate and enjoy a night full of flavors, music and tradition in one of the most anticipated events during the end of the year in Los Cabos.
