Governor Asks for Donations. It must be a sad day when Victor Castro, Baja California Sur governor, has to ask for donations from business people. In this case, from owners of water trucks. As we all know, the water scarcity in Los Cabos is just getting worse and worse, with homes not getting water supplied for up to 4 weeks. Plus, this summer we have only had two days of rain. Hence, Castro wants water trucks to deliver free potable water to the neediest barrios.  We remember when, back in 2021, Castro was running for governor and with a big smile he promised the “End of the water crisis.” Sigh.
