Was this the first COW of the season? A whopping 270-pound Yellowfin Tuna was reeled in on Saturday by La Playita local resident Nathan Browne. Using a 50 lbs. test line with live bait and a 1/10 @ownerhooks, Nathan was aboard his friend Miguel’s panga, a 22-footer named María Sabina (not a Pisces boat).
The battle between man and fish lasted for a grueling two hours before Nathan finally landed the massive tuna. Talk about an epic fishing story!
