The Sea of Cortes To Be Renamed

Mexico’s President, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, stated during his early morning conference that the Sea of Cortés will be officially renamed the Gulf of California. He gave no reason for the change but has repeatedly demanded an apology from Spain for the invasion and colonization of Latin America and the mass killings of native Indians.
