The owner of the iconic “Z” hill, located at the entrance to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, has obtained a change of zoning from “mountains and hills” to Touristic Residential and was renamed Balmaceda land. At the top of the hill sits an observatory and city water installations. Dozens of local residents hike the hill in the early morning or before sunset, respecting the flora and fauna and picking up trash, which is abundant.
