An Olive Ridley sea turtle got trapped between the rocks outside of the Villa del Palmar complex, on Medano beach. An alert was issued and members of the sea turtle protection network showed up and worked on releasing her for two hours. Finally, they were able to pull her up and she showed a nasty cut on her shell, but went back to the ocean happily. Thank you rescuers!
