Southern Baja Governor Not in Favor of UBER

Victor Castro, our state governor, stated that the revision of the state’s transportation law is not contemplating UBER or any similar App, adding that “we don’t want them out of the law, but we will not let them displace us.” Us? That clearly means he is a taxi owner. This triggered a comment from the President of the influential Los Cabos Coordinating Council (CCC) Julio  Castillo, who said, “We ask the state government to evaluate its decisions very carefully.” Tug-o-War around the corner?
