Governor Plans Desal Plant for La Paz

The scarcity of water in our capitol city is getting worse everyday and the partial solution will be to build a desalination plant, said Victor Castro, our state’s governor. He was all against it when he took office almost a year ago, as he was – and still is – concerned with the effects of brine deposited back to soil. “But it seems like our last resort,” Castro said. He is not in favor of building more dams, as in our weather the water evaporates quickly and the cost of building one is out of our budget.
