Employment on the Up and Up

After 6 months of pandemic, Mexico’s employment has recovered 65 percent, revealed INEGI, the country’s institute of statistics.

This figure does not include informal commerce (beach and street peddlers, taco stands, plumbers, carpenters and the like). It is estimated that 6 out of 10 people in Mexico are informal and do not pay taxes.
