Who was here this week? Glad you asked.

Nicole Richie, 36, the adopted daughter of singer Lionel Richie and an American television personality, fashion designer, author, socialite and actress was here, along with her two kids.

Richie rose to prominence for her role in the Fox reality television series, The Simple Life, alongside her childhood best friend and fellow socialite Paris Hilton, which lasted five seasons.

Nicole was looking healthy and better than ever during her beach day, over a decade after sparking concern over her weight. She told Vanity Fair in 2006 that she was not happy with how she looked, explaining: 'I started seeing a nutritionist and a doctor. I was scared that it could be something more serious,' she explained.

In October of 2006 Nicole announced that she was seeking treatment for what her rep described as an inability to put on weight, with her team later confirming she had been diagnosed with hypoglycemia.

Flaunting a confident smile on Thursday, the daughter of music legend Lionel Richie strutted along the sand in the flattering two-piece number.
