New Restaurant Opens In El Pescadero

With events garden area and small hotel

La Jima restaurant and event center is now open in El Pescadero.  Entrepreneur Charlie Foster introduces a touch of class to the sleepy fishing village just south of Todos Santos.

Situated on an a-one-and-a-half-acre parcel adjacent to highway 19 in the heart of town, you can now find the La Jima complex. Consisting of an Authentic Mexican Cantina, an outdoor Tequila Garden for dining and events, a 10-unit budget-friendly Hotelito and over a half an acre palm orchard for weddings and special events.

Owner of Cabo Wedding Company, Charlie knows the business of wedding and event planning. Head Chef Ahmed Olivera knows his way around the kitchen. Together they have created an atmosphere for fine dining and special events like non-other in the area.

The restaurant now opens for breakfast, lunch and dinner and features an authentic Mexican menu with appetizers, soups, salads and Ahmed's favorite Mexican dishes. They offer an extensive selection of wines and tequilas as well as their many signature cocktails at reasonable prices.  They are the first to introduce a tapas menu and wine and margarita happy hour.

Guests can enjoy the authentic Mexican decor while dining in the Cantina or the lush Tequila Garden. The service is first class with a staff that has been highly trained in hospitality. La Jima offers group tequila tastings for small and large groups and will soon be adding a special evening of wine and tequila pairing events.

The wedding huerta (Palm Garden) is a storybook with towering palms and beautiful native gardens that can accommodate groups as large as 400 people.

While traveling the road Todos Santos we highly encourage a stop at La Jima for tequila sampling, tapas or an amazing gourmet dinner in the garden. If you are looking for a venue for that special event or planning a Cinderella wedding the Palm Orchard is a must-see. Plan a visit with Charlie and Chef Ahmed, for an authentic Mexican experience.
